Seva Nivesh is an initiative of Seva Tarang Foundation which focuses on serving the Investors and donors to the social sector.

Our goal at Seva Nivesh is to provide appropriate vehicles and pathways for the private philanthropy funds to flow into the development sector.

Even though structured as a private limited company, our objective is non-profit in nature. We charge for some of the services only so much for us to subsidize other services to investors.

Our Founder, Harshu Ghate, has been a Finance and Corporate law professional. After over four decades of forming and running professional services companies, he exited corporate life and since 2023 been completely working in the social sector. He is a Chartered Accountant and Company Secretary and Partner at Kirtane & Pandit Chartered Accountants, a renowned Accounting and Auditing firm, since 1986.

Given our strengths in Finance and Law, we believe we can do something meaningful towards improving the way this sector is being funded. Just as it needs work to be done with the social organizations (which we are addressing at Seva Tarang Foundation), we believe the massive potential of private philanthropy can be realized more effectively by offering more channels and vehicles for the donors. The channels we are working on, aim to bring in innovation and impact led investments into the sector.
